What's it all about
Battle in Britain (Steve Parker)
My baby's got the blues again, and everyone's the same
We're falling over backwards trying to play their game
Which is in and out of vision like beyond a picture frame
We're silly little children, we forget we are to blame
Ch: Oh............................... there's a battle in Britain,
Oh ............................... there's a battle all over the world
And it's a shame
Kaleidoscopic hairdos go with kaleidoscopic eyes
And we're really so together, never taking sides,
Yet we're from a popular pattern, and we say no strings or ties
But I can feel hands in strangle holds a-making us want to cry
Ch:
.......... oh for shame
All I hear is hear security and how we must hang on
When everyone's against us - who is right and who is wrong
Where it makes no sense to tell your truth if you just come on too strong
But I can hear those bully boys cranking up the same old song
Ch:
............oh it's a shame
